No, you have the right to choose any mechanic you want for maintenance and repairs. Sometimes your warranty covers maintenance free of charge, however, if you need or want to go somewhere else, it is your right, as a consumer, to do so. If you are unsure if your car is still under warranty or what your warranty covers, we can always call the dealer and help you find out.

Q: How often do I really need to have my oil changed?

That depends on your car and the type of oil. There are three different types of oil: semi-synthetic, conventional, and blend. Depending on what kind of oil your car requires, the price can vary. We are happy to look up what type of oil is best for your car, if you are unsure.

Q: How do I know if my vehicle needs to be maintained with synthetic oil changes?

Some cars require synthetic oil. You can find out the specific oil requirements for your vehicle by checking the owner’s manual. All cars can use synthetic, which allows you to go longer between services.

Q: Should I keep maintaining my car or buy a new one?

It’s usually less expensive to maintain your car, when you consider the fees, taxes, and the increase in insurance and payments.

Q: How often should windshield wiper blades be replaced?

Windshield wipers should be replaced every 6-12 months or if they start to streak when using them.

Q: How much should a water pump cost?

That really varies from car to car, depending on the part itself, if we need to order it, the cost of labor, etc. We can work with you to find the most affordable option that is best for you and your vehicle.
